Do RLGA members have preferred tee times at the Riverbend Golf Complex?

Yes. We have preferred tee times set aside on most Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Check the monthly calendars for specifics.

Do I have to have my own foursome to sign up to play?

No. To sign up to play with RLGA, you just need to call the pro shop and tell them you want to play with the Ladies' Club. For all dates, you can call no earlier than 7 days in advance. For weekend play you must call by the Wednesday before, and to play with RLGA on Wednesday mornings, signup must occur by the preceding Sunday. Be sure to confirm the time of play with the desk, as occasionally our times change to accommodate other Riverbend events.

We meet at the course near the practice green about 15 minutes prior to our first tee time and form the foursomes. This way we get to meet and play with different ladies.

Can I bring other friends or my spouse to play during RLGA tee times?

Our tee times are reserved for RLGA members only, but if you have a friend who might like to join, bring her along. RLGA does have special events during the year designed for invited guests.

What if I don't yet have an established handicap?

Establishing a handicap is easy! Just join, start playing with us and record your scores in the Handicap computer. As soon as you've recorded five 18-hole scores, you'll be able to participate in our tournaments and competitions.

I haven't played golf very long, and I'm concerned that your members are all much better players than I am...

Our members have a wide range of playing experience and skills. We make a point to "mix it up" and play with a variety of RLGA friends. Keeping a pace of play consistent with the course's timing needs is necessary, regardless of skill levels.

If I join later in the year, will be membership dues be pro-rated?

Because much of each person's membership dues is owed to the operators of our Handicap System, we are not able to adjust the $60.00 dues level during the year.

What does it cost to play in tournaments?

Our monthly tournaments normally have a $10 entry fee, plus greens fees. Bi-weekly competitions are free to members.

Where can I spend my winnings?

Certificates received for competitions and tournament winnings an be used for: merchandise at the Riverbend Pro Shop, meals at the Fire Creek Grill, greens fees (except for tournaments), and lessons at the Riverbend Golf Complex.
